Learners will learn about the different SQL components. This course focuses on the SQL component, Data Query Language (DQL) that includes the widely used SELECT statement used for retrieving data. Learners will learn the proper syntax and structure for SQL statements. Learners will learn how to retrieve subsets using expressions, and how to include basic statistical (aggregate) functions, scalar functions and other functions in SQL statements.
